Overview

For many people the idea of standing up and delivering a “presentation” fills them with varying degrees of trepidation and dread.
Whether delivering to a small or large audience the ability to control and positively utilise nerves are essential for presentations to appear professional. Delegates will be taught a range of techniques to allow them to control and cope with nerves and stress. The programme will Include best practice in planning, structuring and managing audience expectations.

Target Audience

This workshop is a must for any individual who is required to speak in front of small, medium or large audiences on a formal or informal basis. It can be attended by delegates requiring fine tuning of their presentation skills or less experienced presenters requiring the fundamentals in the field.

Understand how to effectively plan, prepare and structure a presentation

Acquire a range of “presentation” tools, techniques and “tricks of the trade”

Maximise the use of verbal and non verbal communication techniques in presentations

Effectively use notes, prompts and visual aids

Practically manage and overcome nerves

Manage the behaviour of the group/ audience members
