PMI Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) Full Distance LearningThe PMI Full Distance Learning Programme provides an opportunity to study for the Project Management Institute (PMI)’s Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) credentials at times suitable to the learner and at the learner’s own pace. This PMI-accredited programme is designed specifically for self-study via the 20|20 Learning Portal and provides detailed learning content built around the PMI’s CAPM and PMP examination syllabus (please see ‘Prerequisites’ for guidance on which qualification is right for you
Course StructureThe course structure includes access to 20|20’s PMI Introduction to Project Management eLearning programme (approximately 12 hours of learning content) for those learners who wish to access that package initially. Learners are then provided with a series of self-study units covering all aspects of the PMI CAPM and PMP Syllabus.
Throughout their studies, learners have access to an on-line tutor to assist with any areas of difficulty, together with a revision guide, PMI and CAPM and PMP Syllabus documents, sample exam papers and tips.
Prerequisites
Candidates with limited or no experience are recommended to undertake the CAPM examination. Those candidates with 5 years experience (or 3 years with a B.Sc.) are recommended to undertake the PMP examination. Both credentials are recognised internationally. The PMI has over half a million members in 171 countries.
Target Audience
This qualification is for anyone who is working in a project management environment, such as project office personnel, team members, or recently appointed project officers, or for anyone who has recently taken on project management responsibilities as part of their job. The flexibility of distance learning study allows participants to manage their study time around work and social commitments.

CertificationFollowing completion of the programme, candidates arrange their CAPM or PMP examinations directly with the PMI when they are ready to sit the examination. PMI examination centres are located in most major cities globally and candidates can book a time and location convenient to themselves to undertake the CAPM or PMP examination.
