Module C - Collaborating on Multiple Projects

Who is it for?
This course is designed for those with good practical experience of using Microsoft Project for schedule, resource and cost management, who now need to be able to work with more advanced features and super-project & sub-project files using shared project resource pools.

Course content
At the end of this course you will be able to:

Work with the various views and create custom views
Work with more advanced Project tables and filters
Use, create and modify project templates
Export data from Project to other applications
Wok with the predefined reports and create new custom reports
Work with multiple project files simultaneously and create work spaces
Work with shared resources where more than one project uses the same Resource pool
Successfully break large project files down into more manageable chunks

Microsoft Project has become the de facto standard for software Project Planning tools in many organisations.  Its prevalence on the corporate desktop has led to wide scale usage by a diverse range of staff involved in all types of projects.  This course is designed to provide experienced users of Microsoft Project with a structured overview of its more advanced functionality and collaborative capabilities for working in a multi-project environment.

Microsoft Project Modules A, B and C cover the exam syllabus for the Microsoft Certified Professional Exam No. 70-178: Microsoft Project 2010, Managing Projects.
